Message	me. There is a universay joint that goes between the steering wheel and the rack. The u-joint can easily be removed and one of the shafts rotated around to make up for the gear on the steering rack being slightly off. Or at least that makes the most logical sense to me. If I had my manula with me I'd check it more for you, but it's across town in the garage w/ my Z. hopefully someone else can shed a little more light on it for you.
